The Jack London Square is home to a new restaurant with a twist for FUN!. In’Plank’ is a beer lover dream with 50 local draft offerings on tap. Their whiskey selection is impressive; they offer a delectable choice of munchies, a video arcade, live music, bocce courts and bowling lanes, complete with your assigned waiter to keep you happy. Yes, I said bowling lanes! It is the perfect place to eat, drink and have FUN!
Happy hour is 3-7 M-F with $2.00 off drinks and discounted munchies. Try the chicken wings served with five different sauces or the Potato Cakes with caramelized onions, pancetta, and gruyere cheese. Both dishes are well prepared and are delicious mini-tastes. Did I mention that they are real sports fans too? You will not miss that special game!

The dock in front of Scotts Seafood Grill and Bar offers eight free transient slips for a 4-hour stay. Easy access in and out.
Jack London Square is in Oakland, CA just off of the #880 freeway. The off-ramp is easy to see from both directions. 12 hours of parking is FREE with validation for any of the merchants in the Jack London Square.
There is a direct ferry running from San Francisco to Jack London Square. Contact the www.sanfranciscobay.com for the service times for the Alameda/Oakland Ferry schedule. Fees are $3.10
for seniors and $6.25 for adults each way.
NOTE: Oakland can, at times, be a dangerous place, so please take the buses if you want to check out the downtown area! The areas I have written about are safe.
