A day at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute

The new exhibit of  Seahorses is incredible. There will be some you will recognize and some you definitely won’t! Oh yes, there is something about Seahorses that people love. Did you know that there are over 2000 different kinds of seahorses? Did you know that the males get pregnant and deliver the young? Don’t miss this exhibit!


The 70,000-gallon pie slice of the Kelp Forrest with all its homies, let’s you take a dive into this world without getting wet. The tide-pool is a touchy-feely place. Where else can you go feel the squishiness of a sea cucumber or check out a starfish up close and personal?
